Job summary

Flex is seeking an Inventory Control Manager 2 to lead inventory accuracy across the site, partnering with planning, purchasing, and warehouse operations to optimize performance and reduce excess. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in materials or inventory control, strong analytical skills, experience with MRP/ERP, and proven leadership to coach teams and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in materials, inventory control, supply chain, or related field.
• Experience leading inventory accuracy initiatives, cycle count programs, and physical inventories.

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory control activities to ensure accurate inventory records, cycle count compliance, and successful physical inventory execution.
• Collaborate with customers, purchasing, planning, project management, warehouse operations, and business units to manage inventory performance and meet customer expectations.
• Analyze inventory and materials data from MRP systems to identify trends, discrepancies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Manage excess and obsolete inventory disposition activities, including customer negotiations and material sales coordination.
• Develop, implement, and enhance inventory control processes, policies, procedures, and performance metrics.
