Job summary

Flex is seeking an Inventory Control Manager 2 to join our Global Procurement & Supply Chain team in Columbia, SC. You will oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and physical inventories while partnering with planning, purchasing, and warehouse ops to optimize stock and reduce excess.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in materials or inventory control, strong leadership, and proven ability to analyze data using MRP/ERP systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in materials/inventory.
8+ years in materials, inventory control or supply chain roles.
Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
Proficient in data analysis and ERP/MRP systems.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Lead inventory control activities to ensure accurate records and cycle counts.
Collaborate with planning, purchasing, and warehouse teams to optimize inventory.
Analyze data from MRP systems to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Manage excess/obsolete inventory disposition and material sales coordination.
Develop and implement inventory control processes and metrics.
