Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Aberdeen, MD is seeking an Inventory Manager to maintain inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts, physical inventories, and WMS adjustments.

You will oversee capacity reporting, location consolidations, and velocity analysis while supporting the facility's KPI goals. The role requires 3+ years in inventory within manufacturing/distribution, two+ years of supervisory experience, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of manufacturing/production/distribution inventory experience.
• Two or more years of supervisory experience.
• Three or more years of PC inventory and accounting skills.
• Three or more years of problem-solving experience; formal Root Cause Countermeasure methods preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills; Lean principles, WMS, OSHA knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts and physical inventories, plus WMS adjustments.
• Oversee capacity reporting, bay door availability, and location/bin consolidations.
• Perform velocity analysis, quality hold/rework, and inventory reconciliations.
• Develop and maintain inventory control systems meeting current and future facility needs.
• Provide floor and office support to operations and receiving/shipping personnel.
