Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Manager in Aberdeen, MD to maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and WMS adjustments.

You will oversee capacity reporting, bay door availability, and velocity analysis to improve efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse. This exempt salaried role pays $85,000–$95,000 annually and requires strong inventory control experience, analytical skills, and leadership to drive operations.

Qualifications

• Three years or more manufacturing/production/distribution inventory experience
• Two years or more supervisory experience
• Three years or more PC inventory and accounting skills
• Three years or more problem-solving skills; Root Cause Countermeasure experience preferred
• Lean principles exposure; beginner preferred
• WMS knowledge intermediate; OSHA knowledge intermediate; DOT/Hazmat knowledge may be required

Responsibilities

• Track day-to-day facility inventory costs and KPI performance
• Maintain daily reports for daily/weekly/monthly KPIs
• Develop and maintain inventory control systems
• Manage cycle count program and recall/recertification processes
• Provide floor support to Operations Supervisors and receiving/shipping staff
• Lead hold process and drive team performance through regular communications
