Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Supervisor in Port Deposit, MD to lead daily logistics operations within our Supply Chain Solutions division.

You will supervise staff, coordinate activities with the Logistics Manager, ensure KPI achievement, and drive process improvements across the facility. The role requires 0-2 years supervisory experience in transportation or warehouse settings, a high school diploma, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• One year or more experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• 0 to One (1) year direct supervisory/leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and oversee day to day logistics operations.
• Plan and review all logistics processes with the Logistics Manager to meet standards and customer service specifications.
• Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities of the workers to ensure optimal shift/team logistics.
• Accountable for site KPI.
• Monitor progress, coach and develop staff to meet objectives.
• Address performance problems through corrective action and disciplinary process.
