Job summary

Freudenberg Howell, MI is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to direct and optimize inventory for finished goods and raw materials across North American operations. You will lead the inventory control team, monitor KPI performance, and ensure shelf-life compliance in on-site facilities.

The role includes coordinating physical inventories, leading month-end reconciliations, and implementing corrective actions to reduce discrepancies, with SAP and ERP tools used to manage data and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in inventory control, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
• 2+ years of supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and inventory management tools.

Responsibilities

• Direct, control, and maintain inventory levels of finished goods and raw materials across all North American facilities.
• Lead, coach, and develop the inventory control team through training and day-to-day guidance.
• Monitor and maintain inventory control KPIs (scrapped material, aged inventory, obsolete, nonconforming, slow-moving).
• Monitor off-site finished goods inventories for shelf-life compliance.
• Lead month-end reconciliation for finished goods and raw materials across facilities and external warehouses.
• Plan and coordinate annual physical inventory activities.
• Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
