Job summary

Freudenberg Group is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to maintain accuracy across raw materials and finished goods in our NC warehouse. You will manage cycle count programs, investigate discrepancies, and partner with cross-functional teams to improve data integrity.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in inventory management, hands-on SAP and Excel experience, and a mindset for continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. APICS certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse, distribution, or inventory management experience.
• Hands-on inventory control, cycle counting and discrepancy resolution.
• Proficiency with SAP and Excel for tracking, reporting and data analysis.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Purchasing, Production Planning, Finance and Operations.
• APICS/ASCM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute cycle count programs for finished goods and raw materials.
• Maintain inventory integrity with accurate product IDs, lot tracking, locations and quantities.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies through system analysis and audits.
• Partner with Purchasing, Production Planning, Finance and Operations to optimize inventory levels.
• Verify, count, weigh materials, convert units as needed and report variances.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for inventory control processes and efficiency.
