Job summary

Reser's Fine Foods, Inc. in Production is seeking an Inventory Control Lead to coordinate and lead inventory activities, monitor KPIs for accuracy, cycle counts, and variance reduction, and report progress to management.

You will collaborate with Production, QA, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams, mentor staff, analyze trends, and participate in interviews and performance reviews. A high school diploma and 2+ years in inventory are required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; schedule flexibility

Qualifications

• 2+ years inventory experience is required.
• Food industry experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic PC and 10-key skills are a must.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English and be understood.
• English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based upon production demand.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring KPIs for inventory accuracy and cycle counts.
• Report progress to management and propose corrective actions.
• Report production scan issues to supervisors and assist training.
• Report receiving scan issues to supervisors and assist training.
• Coordinate raw material substitutions with receiving and inventory.
• Ensure accurate transactions and timely communication.
• Lead projects to reduce inventory losses and improve reconciliation.
• Collaborate with Production, QA, Purchasing and Warehouse teams.
• Mentor team members for career progression.
• Analyze trends in variances and hold items; present findings.
• Participate in interview process and hiring recommendations.
• Contribute to annual performance reviews and pay recommendations.
• Attend and participate in supervisory meetings.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
