Job summary

Air Systems Components, part of Air Distribution Technologies, Inc., seeks an Inventory Control Supervisor to lead daily inventory control operations at the Tarboro, NC facility. You will manage cycle counts, reconciliation, and ERP accuracy while driving continuous improvement throughout material flow and accuracy.

The role partners with Materials, Production, Purchasing, Planning, Warehouse, and Finance to ensure material availability and cost objectives, while maintaining safety and quality

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Logistics, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in inventory control, materials management, warehouse operations, or manufacturing environment.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
• ERP/MRP systems experience for inventory management and transaction processing.
• Strong understanding of inventory control principles, cycle counting, root cause analysis, material flow, and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily inventory control operations, including cycle counts, audits, inventory reconciliation, and transaction accuracy.
• Lead and develop inventory control personnel fostering accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure inventory records reflect physical inventory through disciplined ERP management and control processes.
• Develop and maintain cycle count programs to achieve accuracy goals and minimize discrepancies.
• Investigate variances, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Warehouse, Receiving, Shipping, Materials, and Production teams on material movement and transactions.
• Monitor inventory metrics and material shortages; support timely availability of raw materials and finished goods.
• Maintain inventory master data and ERP parameter accuracy, including locations and replenishment settings.
• Work with Purchasing and Materials Planning to improve inventory management and reduce excess/obsolete stock.
• Support physical inventories and annual audits; drive continuous improvement in accuracy and flow.
