Job summary

Air Systems Components (ASC), part of Air Distribution Technologies, Inc., seeks a Materials Manager at our Tarboro, NC facility to lead supply chain, planning, and warehouse operations. You will ensure material availability for production, drive lean inventory practices, and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize material flow and on-time delivery.

The role emphasizes coordinating with operations, purchasing, engineering, and customer service to improve planning accuracy and inventory turns

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field required.
5+ years of progressive experience in materials management, production planning, inventory control, or manufacturing operations.
Experience with fabrication, assembly, or sheet metal environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and oversee master production schedules to meet demand and on-time delivery.
Manage material availability for terminal unit assembly and fabrication processes.
Balance capacity with material constraints to optimize throughput.
Lead inventory control, cycle counts, and accuracy initiatives; reduce excess stock.
Monitor supplier delivery performance and coordinate with procurement to ensure reliable supply.
