Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead with at least 2 years in a lead role and strong inventory control skills.

The role involves overseeing inventory, coordinating a warehouse team, and performing SAP transactions while maintaining GMP and safety standards. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED (2-year supply chain degree preferred), proficient Excel skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; preferred 2-year degree in supply chain management.
• 2 years in a lead warehouse role in warehouse, logistics, transportation, or distribution center.
• Advanced experience with word processing, spreadsheet applications and inventory control software (WMS); SAP a plus.
• Able to operate material handling equipment and read inventory reports and procedures.
• Strong mathematical skills with ability to generate reports and communicate clearly.
• Able to multitask and adapt to changing operations; team-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Perform product inventory activities and report variances.
• Oversee inventory control tasks, create and complete STOs to move products.
• Lead warehouse team: coordinate, assign work, report and follow up.
• Assist with order filling, shortages investigation, and claims responses.
• Complete SAP transactions and required documentation.
• Provide scheduling support to backfill vacancies and minimize disruption.
• Adhere to GMPs and Saputo safety/quality programs; report hazards.
