Job summary

Great Lakes Cheese is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee warehousing, shipping, receiving, and inventory control at the Abilene facility. You will direct staff, plan schedules, and ensure adherence to GMP and safety standards.

The role requires 4+ years in warehouse management, strong leadership and SAP experience, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. On-site position in Abilene, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience.
• 4+ years warehouse management experience.
• 5+ years general warehouse experience.
• Strong inventory management knowledge.
• Leadership and staff development skills.
• Proficient with SAP and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse, shipping and receiving operations.
• Plan and assign work schedules and tasks.
• Train and mentor staff; participate in hiring.
• Ensure compliance with GLC procedures and audits.
• Monitor inventory discrepancies and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate materials movement with procurement and production.
• Manage raw product, resale and packaging inventories.
• Lead continuous improvement projects within the facility.
