Job summary

Las Vegas Valley Water District is seeking an Inventory Management Technician Intern for up to 25 hours per week at the Valley View Campus in Las Vegas. The role pays $16.00–$20.00 hourly based on education level and runs through Sep 13, 2026.

The intern will audit inventory, assist with purchasing and receiving documents, and help maintain the District’s automated inventory system. Applicants must be enrolled in a relevant program and be able to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
• Enrollment with a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester (undergraduate) or 3 credit hours per semester (graduate).
• GPA of 2.0 or higher.
• Available to work up to 25 hours weekly.
• A valid Nevada driver’s license.
• Legal right to work in the US, including authorization to work off-campus.

Responsibilities

• Operate a computer and standard business equipment; organize and set priorities.
• Audit inventory, purchasing and receiving documents thoroughly and accurately.
• Coordinate the resolution of shipping and invoicing problems with other departments.
• Prepare clear, concise and accurate records and reports.
