Las Vegas Valley Water District seeks an Electrical/Ronics Systems Technician I (Flex I) to install, troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and electronic systems across a large potable water system in Las Vegas. This position starts at $38.22 per hour as Level I, with potential to flex to Level II at $44.22 per hour after 6–24 months.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited vocational electrical program or equivalent.
• Two years journey-level experience in designing, installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical/electronic equipment for large water systems.
• Must obtain NV Water Distribution Operator I license within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, maintain, test, calibrate and repair electrical and electronic control systems used in potable water production and distribution.
• Diagnose and repair a wide range of electrical and electronic equipment and instrumentation.
• Coordinate work with other sections and teams; work independently or as part of a crew as required.
