Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking personnel for an Asset Protection/Inventory Support role in the United States. You will assist the Asset Protection Supervisor with inventory counts, process damaged or defective merchandise, obtain vendor return authorizations, and support cross-functional teams to ensure accurate stock and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
• Maintains high standards of safety, service, and sanitation for members and team members.
• Processes damaged or defective merchandise following salvage, donation, vendor return, reverse logistics, hazardous waste and destroy procedures.
• Obtains return authorizations from vendors and packages and ships merchandise returns.
• Works with department teams to track, plan, coordinate and execute department inventory counts as prescribed.
• Maintains correct stock/inventory status for all damaged, defective, and returned merchandise.
