Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a detail-oriented team member to support inventory counts, processing damaged merchandise, and handling vendor returns. You will work cross-functionally to ensure accurate stock levels and compliance with club policies, while maintaining a safe and friendly shopping environment.

Responsibilities include re-wrapping sellable items, applying packing guidelines, and supporting other departments as needed to maintain daily club operations and inventory integrity.

Qualifications

• Effective communication, interpersonal skills, and computer proficiency are required.
• Basic math skills are needed for daily counts and calculations.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute departmental inventory counts and processing.
• Sort damaged/defective merchandise and process returns to vendors.
• Obtain return authorizations from vendors and re-wrap sellable items.
• Maintain accurate stock/inventory status for damaged and returned goods.
• Conduct daily safety walks and ensure club safety standards.
• Follow and apply club policies and procedures to ensure accurate inventories.
