Job summary

Rigaku Americas Corp. is seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to ensure accurate inventory levels and seamless material flow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will create and release work orders, perform cycle counts, and partner with Purchasing and Manufacturing to address shortages and optimize operations. Your role requires meticulous recordkeeping, proficiency with ERP systems (Infor SyteLine preferred), and strong communication in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years of experience creating, releasing, and managing work orders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications in a Windows environment.
• Experience with Infor SyteLine ERP is preferred.
• Strong documentation and recordkeeping skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing business needs.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Create and release work orders based on production requirements and system-generated reports
• Perform routine cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy
• Pull, issue, and distribute material kits to assembly and production teams
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming inventory and materials
• Monitor inventory levels and track shortages, ensuring timely replenishment of parts and materials
• Accurately enter and maintain inventory transactions within the ERP system
• Process Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) in a timely manner
• Collaborate with Purchasing to identify and expedite material shortages
• Partner with the Manufacturing Manager to address inventory and operational concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient stockroom environment
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
