Job summary

Vallen is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator I to perform cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations, ensuring accurate inventory records and secure stock. You will analyze discrepancies, support root-cause investigations for stock-outs, run aging and min/max reports, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

This role requires 1+ year in warehousing with strong Excel skills and familiarity with SAP or warehouse management systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 1+ years related work experience.
• Strong computer and data-analysis skills; Excel proficiency with advanced formulas.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems and SAP is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and safety procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical cycle counts and audits; reconciles counts and ensures inventory accuracy and security.
• Adjusts inventory based on counts; updates bin locations; ensures accuracy of incoming/outgoing shipments.
• Researches product/SKU discrepancies.
• Assists with root cause analysis for stock-outs; maintains stock-out data.
• Runs aged inventory and min/max reports; develops lists for return or sale to manufacturers or resellers.
• Reviews min/max levels of Reserve Inventories and suggests changes to Site Management.
• Participates in ongoing process improvement initiatives.
