Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to manage inventory flow in the distribution center, perform cycle counts, ensure FIFO compliance, and monitor temperatures and expiring items. You will document items in the WMS, maintain slotting, generate reports, and collaborate with management to identify opportunities for cost savings and accuracy.

Qualifications include a High School diploma, 1+ year in logistics or inventory control, and proficiency with WMS/ERP systems

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in logistics, inventory control, or supply management.
• Experience with perishable foods preferred.
• Knowledge of WMS/ERP systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Document new items into the WMS system and keep it up to date.
• Perform cycle counts to reconcile the inventory.
• Check for proper FIFO rotation on all stored items.
• Verify appropriate storage temperatures for inventory.
• Record damaged or low-quality products removed from the system.
• Maintain the slotting profile.
• Manage reporting systems and provide insights to management.
