Steel Tool & Engineering Co. is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator for the evening shift to support production in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

You will ensure materials, tools, and inventory are where they belong to keep operations moving smoothly. The role requires accurate inventory control, receiving materials, verifying purchase orders, issuing materials to the shop floor, and monitoring stock levels.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills with Excel and Word.
• Strong attendance and dependability.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication.
• Able to work 3:30 PM–2:00 AM, Mon–Fri.
• Willing to cover overtime or Saturdays when needed.
• Able to stay organized and work independently.
• Able to lift, move, and handle materials.
• Hi-Lo/forklift experience preferred.
• Shipping/receiving/inventory experience preferred.
• Fourth shift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory levels to support production.
• Receive materials and verify purchase orders.
• Issue materials to shop floor and monitor stock levels.
• Create replenishment requisitions and perform cycle counts.
• Maintain organized storage locations.

YOUR ROLE AS AN EVENING INVENTORY CONTROL COORDINATOR

You’ll work Monday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM, helping ensure materials, tools, and inventory are exactly where they need to be to keep operations moving efficiently.

As the Inventory Control Coordinator, you will support production by maintaining accurate inventory levels. Your tasks include receiving materials, verifying purchase orders, issuing materials to the shop floor, and monitoring inventory levels. You will also create requisitions for replenishment, perform cycle counts, and maintain organized storage locations. Effective communication with the Purchasing, Production, Maintenance, and Management teams is essential to address any shortages or discrepancies. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will help ensure efficient production operations.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Basic computer skills, with proficiency in programs such as Excel and Word

• Ability to work a 3:30 PM to 2 AM, Monday through Friday schedule
• Ability to support additional coverage, overtime, or Saturday hours when needed
• Ability to stay organized and work independently
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials
• Experience with Hi-Lo/forklift is preferred
• Shipping, receiving, crib, or inventory experience preferred
• Fourth shift experience is a plus

WHAT WE OFFER
