Job summary

Cadrex is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to organize and maintain our inventory. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, able to work independently, and possess strong organizational skills.

Key responsibilities include picking and kitting components, performing MRP entries, managing shelf life items, conducting inventory counts, and backing up shipping documentation. This onsite role follows a M-F schedule with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting preferred.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to read and interpret prints and work orders.
• Attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical kitting of components for mechanical assemblies.
• Perform MRP entries to allocate materials and components used in production.
• Manage all shelf life items (e.g., adhesives, paints).
• Manage MRP and physical inventory of fixtures used for CNC machining, CMM inspection, and assembly.
• Lead and participate in routine inventory counts and annual full inventory process.
• Identify, analyze, and address gaps in inventory processes and results.
• Use assigned devices to take and save pictures of required packaging for WIP and finished parts.
• Serve as primary backup for creation of shipping documents.
• Serve as a primary backup for the shipping/receiving area.

OVERVIEW

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform physical kitting of components for mechanical assemblies
• Perform MRP entries to allocate materials and components used in the production of subparts and assemblies including:
• Raw Materials - Purchased hardware, Cadrex Southampton produced subparts, consigned materials
• Manage all Shelf Life Items (ie adhesives, paints, etc.)
• Manage MRP and physical inventory of fixtures used for CNC Machining, CMM Inspection, and Assembly
• Lead and participate in routine inventory counts and annual full inventory process
• Identify, analyze, and address gaps in inventory processes and results
• Use assigned devices to take and save pictures of required packaging for WIP and finished parts
• Serve as primary backup for creation of shipping documents
• Serve as a primary backup for the shipping /receiving area
