Wisconsin Department of Corrections seeks a warehouse/docking coordinator for the Milwaukee Secure Detention Facility (MSDF). You will manage receiving/shipping, handle Canteen purchasing records, and ensure accurate inventory control while maintaining a safe, organized warehouse environment.
Responsibilities include coordinating shipments, delivering materials to internal users, and supervising staff as needed.
Under the general supervision of the Financial Program Supervisor, this position is responsible for the operation of the Milwaukee Secure Detention Facility (MSDF) receiving and shipping dock and the maintenance of warehoused items. Duties include the receiving of materials purchased for the MSDF Canteen and attendant bookkeeping functions; shipping of materials through common carrier and through the MSDF delivery system to all intra-institution users, store received materials properly and maintain a neat, clean and safe warehouse environment.
This position is in pay schedule/range 03-10 with a starting pay rate of $19.44/hour, plus excellent benefits. Pay on appointment for current state employees may vary according to the applicable pay transaction provisions of the Compensations Plan, Wisconsin Administrative Code, and statutes. A twelve-month probationary period is required.
