Job summary

The Inventory Control Coordinator role at TPI Staffing, Inc. is based in the Houston, TX area. This temp-to-hire position offers an hourly rate of $23.55–$24.57 with a Monday–Friday schedule from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, and possible overtime and weekend work.

You will generate on-hand reports, identify shortages, prioritize materials, and communicate status to the team while maintaining accurate records. Collaboration with Receiving, Shipping, and Inventory teams is essential to improve processes

Responsibilities

• Generate reports and review on hand material status, actioning each item daily
• Make recommendations for inventory adjustments
• Make recommendations for stock items and/or material status change
• Prioritize materials for orders and communicate status to the team
• Distributes daily/weekly reports to ensure inventory accuracy
• Assists Supervisor with maintaining transactional system integrity
• Helps problem solve Receiving, Shipping, or Material Availability issues
• Investigate inventory inaccuracies and WIP transactions for validity
• Generates reports or documents in support of Shipping, Receiving and Inventory
• Maintains documents per the Emerson record retention policy
• Process material and due date changes to released work orders as needed
• Assists with LEAN initiatives (kanban, process improvement)
