Job summary

Tb-Arhaus-LL in North Carolina is seeking an experienced Inventory Receiver to ensure material is accurately counted, documented, and delivered to the proper department within a heated and cooled furniture plant.

You will pull materials from BOM Pick Lists, complete purchase requisitions, verify incoming shipments, and support periodic inventory while maintaining safe work practices and using a handheld scanner.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years receiving experience.
  • Experience in furniture manufacturing preferred.
  • Minimum education: Less than high school.

Responsibilities

Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Pull materials based on BOM Pick List for production.
  • Complete Purchase Order Requisition for Production Materials, maintaining accurate stock levels of supplies.
  • Verify incoming Supply parts, matching packing lists with purchase orders.
  • Assist with unloading trucks and moving materials to the correct location.
  • Assist with periodic Physical Inventory.
  • Keep Supply cage neat and organized.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Inventory Control Specialist or Receiving Supervisor.
WORKING CONDITIONS

Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plant with concrete floors.

QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

3+ years receiving experience.

  • Must be able to read and comprehend English.
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 100 lbs.

  • Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Must have your own reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for a minimum of 8 hours a day.

Must be able to wear required safety PPE such as Safety Glasses and closed-toe/closed-heel shoes.
