Job description

As the Inventory Control Coordinator, you will optimize the manufacturing plant's inventory levels to ensure the right materials are available at the right time and streamline production workflows. You will develop detailed processes for managing inventory at each stage of the manufacturing process. You will report to the Warehouse Manager and work onsite in Cleveland, OH.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage raw material reservations within the plant campus to ensure reservations are active and necessary for production batches.
• Send unreserved raw materials back to the warehouse for storage.
• Prioritize the return of unneeded raw materials within 48 hours.
• Audit, locate, and scan supermarket raw materials to their proper locations; maintain inventory accuracy and health.
• Scan materials to their current locations.
• Process raw material returns from suppliers.
• Evaluate FIFO and partial usage of raw materials.
• Conduct cycle counts of inventory.
• Investigate and reconcile stagnant inventory.
• Correct inventory inaccuracies and resolve issues.
• Prepare and facilitate physical inventories within the plant and offsite warehouses.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of inventory management experience, including physical inventory, cycle counts, and transactional receiving.
• Experience with ERP systems; Oracle experience is beneficial.
