Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to support the warehouse manager and supervisory staff in daily operations. You will handle blind receiving appointments, inventory control, and data entry to ensure accurate counts and timely reporting.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work quickly and independently, and good communication with team members and customers. Prior experience in high-volume warehouses and AS/400 knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of data entry experience.
• Experience in a high-volume warehouse is preferred.
• AS/400 and inventory control knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure merchandise is counted and tagged per company standards.
• Verify temperature for inbound refrigerated items.
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile with stock status.
• Check daily stock status for close items; prepare daily cut sheet.
• Report discrepancies to warehouse management.
• Maintain accurate picking sheets and invoices; adjust pick lists as needed.
• Answer phones, route calls, and take messages.
• Schedule inbound loads to support receiving.
• Assist with receiving processes when needed.
• Communicate with coworkers to resolve issues.
• Maintain clean, safe warehouse conditions and monitor sanitation/ damages.
• Assist in completing and maintaining reports (e.g., picking documents, productivity reports) and processing bills.
• Work assigned schedule; comply with overtime as required.
