Job summary

Sysco in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to support the warehouse manager and supervisors with clerical duties and inventory control. You will handle blind receiving appointments, cycle counts, and daily picking/invoice support to ensure accurate stock and processes.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years data entry experience, knowledge of AS/400 and MS Office, and the ability to work quickly, multi-task, and communicate effectively with team members in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years data entry experience required.
• AS/400 and inventory control knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all merchandise is properly counted and tagged.
• Verifies temperature level on refrigerated inbound merchandise.
• Performs cycle counts and verifies counts against stock status.
• Checks stock status daily and prepares daily cut sheet.
• Reports discrepancies to the warehouse management team.
• Ensures accurate picking sheets and invoices; adjusts pick sheets as needed.
• Answers phones and routes calls.
• Schedules inbound loads for the receiving team.
• Assists with the receiving process as needed.
• Maintains communication with coworkers to resolve issues.
• Keeps warehouse clean and monitors sanitation and safety.
• Maintains and processes warehouse reports and pays bills for the department.
