Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking a detail‑oriented Purchasing/Inventory Clerk to support warehouse operations in New York. The role covers PO creation, pre-receiving, expense reconciliation, and coordination of various logistics tasks to maintain accurate inventory and timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of warehouse experience, and proficiency with MS Office tools. This position involves standing and lifting as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Create POs for warehouse supplies and services.
• Reconcile expense POs and close and code when completed.
• Assist in slotting new warehouse items.
• Pre-receiving of warehouse POs – open daily PO’s.
• Scan OS&D paperwork and email to merchandising.
• Validate carrier compliance charges in portal.
• Coordinate RTV on returned product.
• Schedule pallet trailer pick ups and dry ice deliveries.
• Coordinate food donation pick ups.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
