Job summary

Safety Sign is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to support receiving, stocking, and inventory accuracy in our Jessup, PA warehouse. The role offers hands-on experience with warehouse systems and a path to progression into a full Inventory Clerk position.

Responsibilities include processing incoming inventory, updating records, performing counts, and helping resolve discrepancies, with opportunities to work in multiple warehouse areas as workload allows.

Qualifications

• Basic math, counting, and measurement skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and follow SOPs.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming freight and inventory.
• Verify quantities, item numbers, descriptions, and condition against receiving documents.
• Enter and update inventory transactions in the warehouse management system and FileMaker.
• Perform counts: cycle counts and physical inventory as assigned.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, and overages.
• Replenish locations based on requirements and procedures.
• Organize and maintain inventory locations for easy identification and access.
• Support other warehouse areas as needed and assist with returns and damaged products.
• Operate warehouse equipment when trained and authorized.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
