Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect deliveries; compare items with shipping documents and report discrepancies.
• Enter shipment and inventory details using data entry tools, a warehouse management system, ERP, or AS400.
• Pick, pack, label, and stage orders; use RF scanners and pallet jacks as authorized.
• Operate forklift or order picker and load/unload goods safely as trained.
• Load/unload shipments, stock products, and maintain organized storage areas.
• Support shipping logistics and assist in other warehouse areas when needed.

As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you’ll keep warehouse operations moving by receiving, checking, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products accurately. You’ll use warehouse management systems and inventory management software to track stock, update records, and support order fulfillment across warehouse distribution and e-commerce operations. Your impact: Accurate receiving and shipping help customers receive complete orders on time and give warehouse teams reliable inventory information.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect deliveries; compare items and quantities with shipping documents and report discrepancies.
• Enter shipment and inventory details using data entry tools, a warehouse management system, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, or AS400.
• Pick, pack, label, and stage orders; use an order picker, radio-frequency (RF) scanner, pallet jack, or forklift as authorized.
• Operate equipment such as a forklift, order picker, radio-frequency (RF) scanner, and pallet jack when trained and authorized; load and unload goods safely.
• Load and unload shipments, stock products, and maintain organized storage areas.
• Support shipping logistics
• Assist in other warehouse areas when needed

Safety & Housekeeping

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Properly operate and maintain warehouse equipment and tools.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Immediately report unsafe conditions, accidents, or equipment malfunctions to management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or assembly experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to regularly lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, and repetitive hand and wrist movements to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Basic math, counting, and measurement skills.
• Forklift experience is a MUST
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, inventory management software, ERP systems, material requirements planning (MRP), or AS400.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to safely operate production machinery and assembly equipment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including standard operating procedures.
