Responsibilities

• Oversees vendors bringing merchandise in and out of store.
• Receives, checks, counts and records all incoming merchandise and similarly checks and records all outgoing merchandise to be returned to vendors.
• Compares information and verifies counts/weight against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.
• Promotes excellent customer relations.
• Maintains backroom and receiving area organization and 5S procedures.
• Follows safety standards and ensures equipment used for receiving/moving merchandise is safe to operate.
