Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Receiver / Inventory Control Clerk (ICC) to oversee Direct Store Delivery operations and ensure items are received, counted, and stocked accurately.

You will walk the store daily to scan DSD items, spot shortages or overages, and work with order writers, night crews, merchandisers, and clerks to support inventory accuracy. You will also communicate with the Store Director, monitor donations, and manage grocery and non-perishable inventories while keeping

Qualifications

• Experience with receiving, tracking, and reconciling inventory in a retail or grocery environment.
• Basic computer skills including email and Excel; familiarity with store portals or inventory systems.
• Ability to monitor damaged, expired, or salvageable merchandise and process returns for credit accurately.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain cleanliness, security, and order in the backroom and receiving areas.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations and ensure merchandise is received, counted, and stocked accurately.
• Walk the store daily to scan DSD items and identify out-of-stock or overstock conditions.
• Partner with order writers, night crew, merchandisers, and the File Maintenance Clerk; communicate with the Store Director.
• Monitor donations and manage grocery and non-perishable inventories; maintain a secure backroom.
