Job summary

Glazer’s Beer & Beverage in El Paso, TX is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to perform cycle counts, analyze inventory with leadership, and maintain inventory integrity. The role requires attention to detail, basic math, and collaboration with warehouse staff.

This is an on‑site role with responsibilities in inventory control and reporting to support business operations. Applicants should be prepared to participate in audits, maintain records, and assist with loss prevention initiatives while

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with computerized inventory systems required.
• Strong communication with warehouse workers and internal departments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in inventory counts as directed.
• Perform quality checks on stored inventory and discard items not meeting standards.
• Conduct frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
• Load dunnage and maintain inventory.
• Maintain inventory records for management and stakeholders.
• Provide inventory reports on discrepancies to inventory control Supervisor.
• Implement loss prevention programs.
• Resolve discrepancies including quantity errors and mis-shipments.
• Understand and adhere to safety rules in the workplace.
• Operate forklift when necessary.
• Perform other related duties as requested.

We are looking for an Inventory Control Clerk to join our Team. In this role you will be responsible for performing and keying cycle counts, working with leadership to analyze operations cycle counts, and maintaining inventory integrity.

Our Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with computerized inventory systems required.

Our Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers, and internal departments.
• Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.

Your Responsibilities

• Participation in inventory counts as directed.
• Performing quality checks on stored inventory and discarding inventory that does not meet the company’ standards.
• Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to forty pounds at a time.
• Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.
