ManpowerGroup in Altavista, VA is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to audit inventory, balance systems, and investigate discrepancies during daily order processing. The role emphasizes maintaining accurate records and supporting production workflows.

The position offers a daytime schedule 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, non-exempt status with overtime paid at time and a half, and opportunities to contribute to Quality and Manufacturing through correct material disposition.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with computer interfaces to complete inventory tasks.
• Experience investigating discrepancies during daily order processing.
• Experience handling inventory dispositions (rejected, expired, returned, quarantined).
• Willingness to complete background check and drug screen.
• Strong attention to detail updating inventory systems.

• Process material being destroyed, re-worked, or quarantined in addition to rejected, expired, and short dated products.

Job Title: Inventory Control Clerk

Pay Range: $16.00

Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Audit inventory to keep systems in balance and investigate inventory discrepancies during daily order processing.


• Process rejected, expired, short dated, and returned products to ensure inventory records remain accurate.


• Support Quality and Manufacturing by handling material being destroyed, reworked, or quarantined according to established procedures.


• Resolve orders on hold for inventory status and help move materials through the correct disposition path.


• Process material being destroyed, re-worked, or quarantined in addition to rejected, expired, and short dated products.

What's Needed?

• Ability to work with significant computer interfaces to complete inventory-related tasks accurately.


• Comfort investigating discrepancies and following documented processes during daily order processing.


• Ability to handle product dispositions such as rejected, expired, short dated, returned, destroyed, reworked, or quarantined materials.


• Willingness to complete a background check, drug screen, and provide proof of education as required.


• Strong attention to detail and consistency when updating inventory systems.
