Job summary

Shamrock Foods Company is seeking an inventory control associate to compile and maintain stock records, counts, and values. You will count stock, post totals, and verify against records to ensure accuracy across the facility.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, English fluency, and flexibility to work shifts including nights, weekends and holidays in temperature-controlled environments. This is an entry-level position with growth potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent.
• Fluency in English (speak, read, write).
• Willing to work shifts including overnights, weekends, holidays.
• Able to work in temperature-controlled zones from -5 F to ambient.

Responsibilities

• Count stock and post totals to inventory records.
• Compare inventories to office records and compute figures.
• Verify computations against physical counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare reports on inventory balance, price lists, and shortages.
• Maintain records of receipts and disbursements and current inventory.
• Attend to safety and attendance requirements; regular and reliable presence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
