Job summary

White Cap Supply Holdings, LLC is seeking an Inventory Control Associate in Houston to support accurate inventory levels and smooth daily order processing. The role involves auditing inventory, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining cycle counts while complying with safety policies.

Preferred candidates may have forklift experience, Spanish language skills, and familiarity with Oracle or sales order software. On-site work with robust benefits and growth opportunities in a stable company.

Qualifications

• Audits inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
• Researches and resolves issues, adjustments and discrepancies per internal controls.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and completes cycle counts.
• Receives products from vendors and notes quality issues for buyers.
• Follows safety policies and handles up to 50 pounds.
• Typically 2–5 years of relevant experience.

• Research and resolve all issues, adjustments and discrepancies. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.
• Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy. Complete follow up to all previous inventory adjustments. Completes and reviews cycle counts.
• Maintain time control tables consistent with base tables, key and review allocations.
• Receives products from vendors to check for quality. Communicates potential quality issues to buyers.
• Maintains quality control and inventory control manuals.
• Lifts and carries up to 50 pounds.
• Follows company safety policy and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Generally has 2-5 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency.
• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
