Job summary

Protolabs is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst to maintain inventory accuracy, lead cycle counts, and ensure data integrity across ERP systems. You will collaborate with Planning, Materials, Warehouse, and Customer Service to optimize material flow, traceability, and regulatory reporting.

The role requires 3–5 years in inventory control, proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems, and a collaborative mindset to support cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in business or materials management.
• 3–5 years in inventory control with warehouse exposure.
• Fast-paced, team-oriented work environment experience.
• Attention to detail and good attendance.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and enforce inventory control work instructions.
• Manage cycle counts and data integrity within perpetual inventory.
• Coordinate cycle count process and adjustments.
• Report audit results to LPIM and Site Leadership.
• Investigate discrepancies with Logistics, Warehouse, and Procurement teams.
• Monitor transfers for accuracy per LPIM guidance.
• Maintain lot traceability and communicate opportunities for improvement.
• Support Sales/Procurement on material change requests.
• Assess material consumption with internal partners.
• Collaborate on Mystery Materials and material returns.
• Lead Mold Destruction and Material Disposal efforts.
• Ensure scrapping/removal of molds/materials in ERP systems.
• Oversee disposal of expired LSR materials.
