Job summary

Buell Fuel | Center State Propane is a growing, family-owned fuel company based in Deansboro, NY, delivering propane, heating oil, diesel, and gasoline across upstate New York. We seek a Full-time Inventory Control Specialist for our Waterville office to support inventory tracking, data entry, and customer service.

This role offers a daytime Monday–Friday schedule with competitive hourly pay and growth potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year of customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience in the fuel delivery, propane, or heating industry is a plus.
• Strong computer and communication skills are expected.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask; self-motivated with teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional customer support in person, by phone, and by email.
• Track incoming and outgoing shipments, log inventory changes, and maintain accurate database records.
• Perform regular physical counts, inventory audits, and root-cause analysis to reconcile discrepancies or shrink.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Handle administrative data entry, reporting, and reconciliation for company assets, purchasing, and stock.
• Support team members and contribute to a positive office environment.
• Monitor reorder points and min-max models to decide when to restock items without overstocking.
• Enter, match, and verify purchase orders into database software.

We’re looking for a Full time Inventory Control Specialist at ourWaterville office—someone dependable, professional, and motivated to grow with us!

What You’ll Do
