Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a GFM/Depot Inventory Compliance Associate Director to lead all inventory compliance activities for Government Furnished Material. You will direct a team across MMAS and Property systems, shaping strategy and ensuring compliance and audit readiness.

You will collaborate with Property, Logistics, Finance, Production Control, and 3PL partners, drive performance metrics, cost optimization, and continuous improvement using CORE as a change enabler.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience.
• Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, and/or Inventory Management.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders at multiple levels, including executives, suppliers, and customers.
• Experience leading teams and developing talent.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Inventory Compliance strategies with operations leadership to meet goals.
• Harmonize Inventory Compliance practices across Supply Chain and Factory Logistics.
• Build relationships with Property, Logistics, Finance, Production Control, MPM, and 3PL partners.
• Support audits related to DFAR-governed systems and customer reviews.
• Develop, track, and report key performance metrics to drive transparency.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using CORE as a change enabler.
• Create business cases, savings plans, and operational recommendations.
• Drive innovation in logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce cost.
• Set future-state strategy for depot-site inventory compliance, esp. secondary systems.
• Apply root-cause analysis to complex issues and implement solutions.
• Manage overhead budgets, costs, and resource planning.
• Interpret and apply SSOWs to ensure compliance and consistency.
