True Religion is seeking a Manager of Accounting Operations in El Segundo, CA, to own inventory and COGS reconciliations and drive the month-end close. You will lead the Inventory Specialist and Sales Audit Supervisor, ensuring accurate recording of sales activity and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a focus on inventory and cost accounting.
• Experience supervising accounting or audit staff.
• Strong knowledge of inventory costing, including standard costing and variance analysis.
• Proven experience preparing inventory, COGS, and balance sheet reconciliations and month-end journal entries.
• Experience supporting external auditors through the annual audit process.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the Inventory Specialist and Sales Audit Supervisor, setting priorities and ensuring close deadlines.
• Oversee the sales audit function, ensuring sales activity is reconciled and recorded accurately.
• Own all inventory and COGS reconciliations and book all COGS entries for each period end.
• Prepare inventory reserve reconciliations and inventory trend/aging reports.
• Prepare and review journal entries for the monthly close.
• Perform balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations and analytics.
• Partner with external auditors throughout the audit process to achieve timely audited statements.
• Collaborate with IT and Operations to ensure timely and accurate recording of activity.
• Identify and implement workflow process improvements and support special projects.
