Job summary

True Religion seeks an Accounting Operations Manager to own inventory and COGS reconciliations and to lead the sales audit function. You will drive timely month-end closes, prepare reserve reconciliations, and partner with external auditors to deliver accurate financial statements.

You will manage the Inventory Specialist and Sales Audit Supervisor, improve processes with IT and Operations, and ensure accuracy of recording across periods in a hybrid El Segundo, CA setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a focus on inventory and cost accounting.
• Experience supervising accounting or audit staff.
• Strong knowledge of inventory costing, including standard costing and variance analysis.
• Proven experience preparing inventory, COGS, and balance sheet reconciliations and month-end journal entries.
• Experience supporting external auditors through the annual audit process.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Inventory Specialist and Sales Audit Supervisor, setting priorities and ensuring close deadlines are met.
• Oversee the sales audit function, ensuring sales activity is reconciled and recorded on time.
• Own all inventory and COGS reconciliations and book all COGS entries for each period end.
• Prepare inventory reserve reconciliations and inventory trend and aging reports.
