Randstad USA in Milpitas, CA seeks an inventory clerk for short-term, high-volume distribution center assignments. The role focuses on data-driven inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and reconciliation of discrepancies to maintain precise stock levels.

You will input adjustments into the WMS, verify locations, and collaborate with warehouse teams during scheduled counts. Working hours are 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM, with standard benefits for temp staff where applicable.

• Investigate and reconcile discrepancies found during cycle counts or audit procedures, documenting root causes and adjustments.
• Accurately input inventory adjustments, transfers, and location changes into the warehouse management system (WMS) or inventory software.
• Audit and verify product locations, ensuring all inventory is stored correctly and following FIFO or client-specific procedures.
• Communicate discrepancies and location issues to warehouse management and receiving/shipping teams.

Are you highly analytical and excel at inventory accuracy? Become an inventory clerk with a highly flexible schedule. We offer short-term mandates in high-volume distribution centers, allowing you to use your data skills to ensure precise stock integrity when it fits your life.

Your responsibilities:

• Perform accurate, scheduled cycle counts and physical inventory checks of designated stock locations to verify system quantities.
• Investigate and reconcile discrepancies found during cycle counts or audit procedures, documenting root causes and adjustments.
• Accurately input inventory adjustments, transfers, and location changes into the warehouse management system (wms) or inventory software.
• Audit and verify product locations, ensuring all inventory is stored correctly and following fifo (first-in, first-out) or client-specific procedures.
• Communicate discrepancies and location issues to warehouse management and receiving/shipping teams.
