Job Duties

• Review and apply inventory activities, including movements and deletions
• Maintain and update inventory records
• Develop and implement efficient inventory management procedures
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies
• Report any stock issues to management and place product orders as necessary
• Prepare a list of depleted products and a survey of unusable products
• Conduct Cycle Count inventory processes to ensure accuracy and timely execution
• Schedule categories for Cycle Count inventory and maintain strict records
• Oversee and evaluate stock rotation procedures
• Maintain adequate storage for warehouse and on-site inventory
• Maintain and evaluate inventory records on a quarterly basis
• Create an efficient space utilization plan
• Notify management of shortages or other problems that could impact product availability
• Instruct staff on proper procedures for locating and utilizing product inventory
• Check bulk orders for accuracy and quality prior to shipment

Knowledge and Skills

• Clerical Skills: Inventory Associate need to know how to type, file and keep accurate records.
• Communication Skills: Inventory associate communicate with co-workers, the home office, and others to make sure that accurate records are being made of inventory
• Attention to Detail: Accuracy counts. Inventory associate need to make sure not to miss any details when counting orders and taking stock
• Math Skills: Inventory associate will be using math to add inventory
