Job summary

M&M International, LLC is seeking an Inventory Clerk to receive, store, and distribute materials at our Louisiana warehouse. You will ensure accuracy and timeliness in all job functions, including pulling parts for assemblies, repairs, and customer pickups, and maintaining FIFO inventory control.

The role requires basic computer skills, ability to operate a forklift, and strong attention to detail, with emphasis on accurate part Numbers and quantities across multiple processes in a fast-paced

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
  • Inventory and forklift experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Print assembly jobs from the Testing Schedule.
  • Pull parts for assembly jobs, repairs, UPS, FedEx and customer pick-ups.
  • Ensure all parts going from blanks to milling or Bodycote are accurately pulled and brought to the correct place.
  • Transfer parts into inventory by verifying part number, job number and quantity.
  • Assemble major seal kits and pull parts for major part kits to be assembled.
  • Get accurate counts and ensure parts issued are in a first in-first out method.
  • Check and restock panel lift/rotomat with parts needed from overstock rack.
  • Receive finished parts coming into inventory; verify job numbers and quantities match the corresponding work orders.

REPORTS TO: Inventory Supervisor

REVISION NUMBER: 1

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Inventory Clerk will receive, store and distribute materials, tools, equipment and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:


  1. Print assembly jobs from the Testing Schedule.

  2. Pull parts for assembly jobs, repairs, UPS, FedEx and customer pick-ups.

  3. Ensure all parts going from blanks to milling or Bodycote are accurately pulled and brought to the correct place.

  4. Transfer parts into inventory by verifying part number, job number and quantity.

  5. Assemble major seal kits and pull parts for major part kits to be assembled.

  6. Get accurate counts and ensure parts issued are in a first in-first out method.

  7. Check and restock panel lift/rotomat with parts needed from overstock rack.

  8. Send email to supervisor and/or manager with notification when parts are low.

  9. Receive finished parts coming into inventory; verify job numbers and quantities match the corresponding work orders.

  10. Fill valve orders that will be shipping out the following day.

  11. Perform other related duties as assigned.


Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:


  1. High School Diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.

  2. Inventory and forklift experience a plus.


SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC:


  1. Must have basic computer skills.

  2. Must have ability to operate a forklift.

  3. Must have ability to multi-task.

  4. Must be detail-oriented and pay close attention to accuracy.

  5. Ability to think outside of the box and utilize reasonable deduction.

  6. Possess excellent communication skills.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Environment: Work is performed in an indoor and outdoor shop environment; exposure to noise, dust, grease, smoke, fumes, noxious odors, gases, mechanical and electrical hazards, and all types of weather and temperature conditions.


Physical: Primary functions require physical ability and mobility to walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods of time; to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, twist, grasp, and make repetitive hand movement in the performance of daily duties; to infrequently climb on ladders or stairs; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate to heavy amounts of weight; to operate assigned equipment and vehicles; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to thirty (30) pounds. Personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel toe shoes and safety glasses, must be worn at all times while in the shop.


Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.


Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.


TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:


  1. All employees are to be indoctrinated in the QMS within sixty (60) days of hire.
