Job summary

LHH is partnering with a large company in Kirkland, WA to recruit an Accounting Clerk for a temporary-to-hire role. You will handle invoices, inventory reporting, and data accuracy, with professional communication for vendors and internal customers. This position is fully onsite in Kirkland, WA.

The role requires 1+ year of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and ERP familiarity. You will contribute to month-end close and inventory valuation while collaborating with cross-functional

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related accounting functions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software; ERP or inventory management system experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately manage financial transactions and inventory records.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, customer payments, and accounting transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking product receipts, transfers, adjustments, and usage.
• Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and annual physical inventory audits.
• Research and resolve discrepancies between inventory records, purchase orders, and vendor invoices.
• Enter and update accounting and inventory data within the ERP or accounting system.
• Prepare financial and inventory reports to support management decision‑making and month‑end close activities.
• Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and operations teams to ensure accurate inventory valuation and recordkeeping.
