Summary
Radwell International is seeking an Inventory & Production Operations Specialist to support inventory accuracy, material readiness, and operational efficiency across our production and repair operations. This role serves as a critical link between Inventory, Production, Service Writing, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure materials are available when needed, workflows remain uninterrupted, and customer commitments are met.
The ideal candidate combines strong inventory control experience, operational awareness, and problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset. This position offers the opportunity to drive improvements, enhance material flow, and play a direct role in supporting production performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Ownership & Control
- Maintain inventory accuracy and integrity across assigned production and repair areas
- Establish and maintain organized bin management standards that support traceability, efficiency, and inventory visibility
- Perform cycle counts of components, consumables, and high-risk inventory categories while identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Investigate inventory variances, receipt issues, condition discrepancies, and system inaccuracies
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including locations, quantities, part numbers, and inventory status
- Manage scrap material disposition and associated inventory adjustments
Production & Repair Support
- Monitor production queues and repair workflows to ensure materials are available and jobs remain on schedule
- Pick, kit, and dispense repair components for approved production and repair activities
- Identify material shortages, supply constraints, and operational risks before they impact production
- Coordinate closely with Service Writing and Production teams to support efficient repair execution
- Improve inventory layouts, material flow, and storage organization to increase throughput and productivity
Procurement & Materials Coordination
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming purchase orders to ensure accuracy and timely availability
- Restock inventory and maintain appropriate stock levels to support operational demand
- Process internal transfer requests and material requisitions while ensuring proper documentation and system accuracy
- Collaborate with Procurement and Parts teams to resolve shortages and improve material availability
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Identify inventory, workflow, and process improvement opportunities
- Support development and implementation of standard work procedures for inventory and material handling activities
- Maintain strong visual management and organizational standards throughout inventory areas
- Participate in safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
Communication & Customer Support
- Serve as a key point of contact for inventory-related issues and material readiness concerns
- Communicate proactively regarding material shortages, delays, and production impacts
- Collaborate across departments to ensure priorities remain aligned and customer expectations are met
General Operations
- Support audits, operational projects, improvement initiatives, and branch-wide objectives as needed
- Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment

- Advanced knowledge of inventory control and material flow processes

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

- Knowledge of safety, quality, and production standards

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- 1-3 years of experience in operations, inventory, production support, quality, engineering, or continuous improvement roles preferred
- Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, repair, or production environments preferred
- Electronics or industrial product knowledge is highly desirable
Compensation
The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $30.00-$34.00 per hour.
Within the base pay range, individual compensation is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Work Schedule
This position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Extended hours may occasionally be required to support operational projects, inventory initiatives, or continuous improvement activities.
Work Environment
This role operates within both office and production environments. Responsibilities include inventory management, material handling, process improvement, and operational support activities. Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and interaction with production teams may be required. Employees are expected to follow all company safety policies, identification requirements, and workplace standards.
