Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an Inventory Analyst to optimize inventory levels across the network and ensure product movement to right locations at the right time. You will lead key categories and partner with Merchandising, Marketing, and Supply Chain to build long-term strategies for category health.

The role requires strong Excel, analytical skills, and experience with inventory systems. This hybrid position is based in Raleigh, NC, with four days in-office and one remote day.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel and analytical skills with retail math proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders from vendors to distribution centers to maintain inventory.
• Review KPIs (weeks of supply, in-stock depth) and adjust replenishment.
• Monitor vendor POs from order point to DC to ensure on-time, full shipments.
• Analyze data to identify slow movers and obsolete stock for lifecycle decisions.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Marketing, Pricing, and Supply Chain partners.
