Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. in Raleigh, NC seeks a Senior Manager of Inventory Management to lead enterprise‑level inventory strategy and teams, including Demand Planners and Inventory Analysts. You will partner with Merchants, Vendors, and Distribution Centers to optimize stock, forecast accuracy, and supplier performance.

You will drive replenishment strategies, lead budgeting, and communicate insights to senior leadership, shaping long-term inventory capabilities across the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, logistics, finance, supply chain management or related field.
• 7+ years related experience in Inventory Management or related role within retail; 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI) and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive enterprise-level inventory strategy balancing service, working capital and growth.
• Lead replenishment, depth in-stock, turnover and fill rates.
• Guide PO placement, supplier relationships and vendor performance.
• Monitor KPIs and present inventory findings to leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Lead budgeting and forecast processes for inventory planning and risk areas.
• Develop and coach the team for continuous performance improvements.
