Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Visual Store Planner in Raleigh, NC, hybrid work arrangement (4 days in office, 1 day remote).

You will partner with Planogram, Category Management, and Inventory teams to oversee item eligibility and deployment for assigned categories, ensuring the right assortment to help customers and grow sales. The role emphasizes planogram validation, space optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to align merchandising strategies with inventory planning.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of retail and/or project management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising or related field; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• Proficient in planning and reporting tools; strong data interpretation and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide planogram specific reporting needs to category management during line reviews
• Partner with Real Estate on NSO, Remodel, and Relocation projects for space optimization
• Conduct weekly audits to ensure store eligibility and correct inventory distribution
• Manage ServiceNow tickets to support company stores
• Validate planogram and promotional off shelf placement according to Planning Calendar
• Monitor disposition plans for non go forward SKUs as part of planogram reset
• Manage store-specific POG conversions and lifecycle changes
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to align merchandising and inventory strategy
• Assist in early store resets of planogram updates to identify gaps in new SKU inventory
