Guitar Center Inc. in Westlake Village, CA is seeking an Inventory Analyst to support merchandise planners and store planners in optimizing stock levels for both eCommerce and Retail.

You will help minimize backorders, maximize inventory turns, and improve profitability while meeting customer service goals. You will monitor deliveries, resolve shortages, coordinate vendor returns, and ensure timely PO updates to support promotional and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience in inventory or supply chain.

Responsabilités

• Track late PO deliveries and communicate opportunities to team.
• Resolve shortages, overages and ship issues.
• Review in-transit products and identify issues like lost product.
• Perform promotional pre-setup inventory checks for web/catalog promos.
• Review open backorders and expedite inventory as needed.
• Maintain planned arrival dates on POs and expedite past-due orders.
• Apply PO price variance corrections.
• Validate reserve and aged inventory levels.
• Coordinate vendor returns and related duties.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.
